剧情介绍
人见孝子（原节子饰）的父亲去世，孝子在坟前哀悼时，偶遇前来吊唁的父亲门生、有妇之夫矢岛隆吉（佐分利信饰）。两人早已相识，同行返回东京。路上孝子哭诉父亲去世后自己生活豪无着落，隆吉便邀请她到自己家做佣人。经隆吉反复劝说，孝子应允。隆吉之妻（杉村春子饰）身患重病，只能住在疗养院，家中各种杂务，全由孝子操劳。隆吉的子女喜欢这位新来的阿姨，而孝子和隆吉彼此的爱恋也日渐深厚...... 展开全部
