第二季叫做《美国怪谭：疯人院》：故事发生在在20世纪60年代新英格兰地区的「Briarcliff疗养院」，住在这里的只有三类人：医生护士、牧师修女、精神病人（准确地说是精神病罪犯）。这所「疗养院」由Jude修女 (杰西卡·兰格)和高级神职教士Timothy OHara (约瑟夫·费因斯)共同管理。第二季，故事另起一篇，展开一个新故事；只保留近一半的主演，留下的演员演第一季完全不同的角色 展开全部
